I was paging through this book yesterday in a shop to see how it compares to Frederica Patmore's The Knitting Book, which has been my go-to since I advanced from beginner lessons to teaching myself from books and videos. I love the section on mosaic knitting (my current obsession) and how easy to use the Vogue book is - not too heavy, lays flat when open, with exceptional cross-referencing.
