So, I spent the last week getting two of my three settled into college. Yes, college! I still have to say it a few times. I just can't believe it.
Charlie will be a Junior returning to The Ohio State University. And, Libby is starting her first year at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
It was a tough week, but seeing them happy makes it so much easier.
Now, I get to put all my focus on Andrew. :)

Lucky Andrew that he will get all your attention but poor Andrew that he lost his dog and his siblings all in one month. He will need your attention!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness... you are so right!!!
ReplyDeletei will give him so much... he will feel smothered. :) xx
I took my two daughters to college this week too. Seeing them happy does make all the difference. Skype and texts help too! I also have a son in high school who is going to be getting more attention than he wants. Maybe I better start a big knitting project!
ReplyDeleteoh, what a time! I was so excited when I went off to university, I don't think I even paused to think how my parents felt. I read recently a question about whether or not it's harder to send them off for kindergarten or college.... and it was an even split on the answers!
ReplyDeletelucky andrew! poor andrew! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis means more cookies for Andrew and more cookie care packages to ship.
ReplyDeleteCub Sweetheart is from Boulder, and went to CU - big Buffs fan. Great school and not a bad place to visit your kid either!

ReplyDeleteBoulder is such an awesome town! So much going on. One of my brothers went to school there and has lived in Boulder ever since (35+ years!).
ReplyDeleteCongrats?! Boulder is awesome, though. Your post title reminded me of 10,000 Maniacs' song, These Are Days.
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to see your kids grow into young adults. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, writing different essays will give you an opportunity to develop your imagination. I'm sure that this will help you with it.
