elen progress

It's one of those chilly spring days where drinking hot tea and knitting all day sounds like a dream.
I've been working on Elen in hopes of finishing at the end of this month.  However, I'm 100% positive that won't be happening.   Short rows were worked in order to achieve that scooped bottom.  (That's the back pictured above.)  I reworked it a couple of times because I wasn't paying attention to the mesh pattern.  I think it's smooth sailing now.

And, oh!  I have a new project in the wings.  The yarn arrived today.  Can't wait to cast on.

  1. Ack, I'm really sorry to say that I think I see a mistake in the lace. About 10 rows down in the center. Looks like a chunk was knit with right leaning decreases instead of left. Looks like both ends of that same row are leaning left.

It looks absolutely lovely though. Great yarn choice!

I love having a cozy day. You are patient to knit a garment in pieces pattern.

  4. I just read the comment about spotting a potential error, oh no! I didn't' see it, you could keep going and pretend it's part of the design? I love mesh sweaters, they are really great for all seasons, I find- a tank top or tee under them in the summer, and a long sleeved tee under them in the winter. I get a lot of mileage out of mesh sweaters.

  6. What's the yarn you're using for pink memories? The same listed on the Ravelry page? It looks beautiful.
