summer '10
Tuesday, June 08, 2010They jumped. Just like in the past. (Except with bigger feet. Lead in their legs. And a dog named Trouble standing by to witness the craziness.)
I guess that makes it pretty much official. Summer '10 has begun.
And to celebrate, my sweet friend, Michelle, treated the kids to delicious cupcakes. That made everyone extremely happy.

Making me happy... seeing the rhubarb and strawberries in my CSA share. Pretty sure I'll be making this. Oh, and there were garlic scapes in there, too. Really looking forward to making this again. SO good.
Happy Days.

ReplyDeleteI just have to comment about Trouble ;) I couldn't tell in your previous pic if Trouble was an Airedale or a Welsh Terrier. We have a very goofy Airedale named Archie who's now 7 and has finally figured out how to act like a dog but still doesn't realize he's an Airedale (ie. he hates water and he's never met a stranger he doesn't love, lol.)
ReplyDeleteHappy Summer!

I will be on the look out for garlic scapes (in my own garden, I grow the stuff and did not know you could eat that part!) Thanks for the tip, and have a wonderful summer!
