Beautifully done! The color and yarn really do allow those clever details to reveal themselves.

I've also always blocked after sewing. Now I am curious about why blocking first would be preferable, if you'd managed to adhere to the gauge throughout the knitting.

I have been wanting a blue sweater for a while now, and that is a great shade of blue. GREAT looking creation!

Don't you think though that it is easier to seam together blocking the pieces before you sew? I've done it both ways, still new to it all, but I did think it was a little easier. Everything laid flatter and didn't curl so much. What would be the advantage of blocking after seaming? Just wondering~Jan

I LOVE the design of this- and the color! I've been trying to learn how to knit because I have many friends who do, for now I just send them pics of what I want them to make for me. But once I get good enough I'd like to try this. I'm always amazed at what people can make by knitting. I saw a knit wedding dress in a window in Los Angeles the other day!
