I wonder if January is the month for chocolate or something. I, too, prefer vanilla, but made some chocolate cookies a couple of days ago that were absolutely to die for. They had peanuts in them, and sea salt on top, and with what was left of the batter, which I could not stop eating, I made what were hailed by my non-chocolate loving children as the best cookies they'd ever tasted. So it must be something in the air.

Those cookies look delicious, either way.

We're on the same page today. I resumed a quilt I had been working on and have some cookies planned. Such a nice way to spend a snowy Saturday (at least here there is snow).

those cookies look great...I'm gonna have to try that recipe. I made some of those at Christmas time but the recipe called for cinnamon and nobody really liked them. These sound wonderful. So funny, I finally made the oatmeal, raisin, chocolate chip cookies today (double recipe) and they went so fast that i ran to grab the camera before they were gone - all but 12 were eaten throughout the day. and now i come here and these look amazing - i will try these too - i wonder if i can get away with using whole wheat flour here too - so far it hasn't been a problem in any recipe. Love the fun colors you chose for the tissue cozies - the girls will love them!

We really only use apostrophes for ownership or abbreviations. If you want a plural, don't use an apostrophe. Sorry - it's the English teacher in me. I got behind the sewing machine yesterday for hours. Now that my studio is somewhat set up it felt great. Even finishing up a few 'uninspiring' projects' really made me feel creative. Those cookies are definitely going in the cookie queue!
