The socks look great! I never got around to joining... it's been such a crazy fall! On the plus side, though, I have, one year later, finally gotten close to finishing my inca marl ruffle coat you got me started on. Just have to finish that never-ending ruffle (I'm only half way) and I'll be done.

I had one of those youth group moments tonight myself, but at Connor's age they call it BLAST. I spent the hour and a half at Panera making a to do list for the last part of the week. Cookie making comes on Friday for me. Your socks are looking great!

I wish I could knit better. I was taught to knit with the one needle between my legs and now it is so hard to change that habit. So it is insanely slow to knit and so I stick with crochet, but man knit patterns are so much prettier!!

Love the dish the cookies are in. I recently was given a handmade cookbook with lots of goodies in it that my husband's grandmother made for me when we were first married. Father in law found it in her stuff in the attic. I can't wait to start making some stuff each week for the family.

Darling 16 yr. old daughter is making pumpkin spice bread with cream cheese frosting as I comment. She was in the mood to bake, and I was in the mood for pumpkin bread. Works for us both! :)

Those socks are looking fantastic, but I can not even think about making them now. I have started on Christmas presents. I have spent the past 30 min. on the internet trying to find out how to read a cable chart in the round. Finally, I found it. Anemoon in Velvet Grapes Malabrigo (for the same one making bread) is well on the way.

Oh yum! I don't think I've ever met an oatmeal cookie I didn't like!
I'm behind on my socks, not too far. If I can finish my sweater in anotherday or too, I may still be able to finsih my socks before the end of the month- which would be much better than last year!
