Apples? Crab apples? LOVE 'em. Twenty minutes for breakfast..? That's not horrible. I have raised little piggies who are done in about three... 'course I don't feed them quite as well... I mean, who wants to sit around 20 minutes eating Kashi flakes, right?
Yum! I love fresh fruits, especially in the summer. Aren't little yellow plums a delight? We just bought fresh blueberries from the local farm stand, and peaches...
School starts here on Monday so I'm feeling like Summer is over, despite the horrendous HOT weather here and no rain for months! Have a great weekend Leslie. Hugs xxx
Oh I loved this series last summer! Your summer breakfasts always look so yummy! I'll have to try those little yellow plums. Enjoy the last few days before school starts!
you have a great approach to life, with plenty of time for the simple things - like this wonderful breakfast. I should do this too, we don't need to go out for breakfast, just a little preparation and enjoy! Thanks for the inspiration :)
Life does speed by. Here it is Tuesday morn and I'm now just seeing your post. I've always admired the fact that as busy and full as your summer days are, you always manage to set a beautiful table, prepare a wonderful meal for your family and stop a moment to enjoy each other and breathe. You are an amazing woman with a soul grounded in the very best life has to offer which is peace, tranquility and JOY!
