turkey skirt?
Thursday, November 27, 2008So, I worked hard to get this skirt finished for today. However, changed my mind about wearing it. A little clingy for a day of eating, if you know what I mean. So, it will reside on my dress form for the day.
I'll be back soon to let you know all about this project.
Have a wonderful day!

The skirt looks lovely...but yeah, Thanksgiving and knit skirts aren't a great combination.
ReplyDeleteWent to look at the pattern and can't believe they size it up to a 40+ inch waist!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteWords can't describe how much I LOVE THIS SKIRT!!!!!
Just got done making your recipes. Happy Thanksgiving. I love the skirt. A black bodysuit, long-sleeve. turtleneck or boat neck would look great! -----Cache' circa 1995

ReplyDeleteThe skirt looks amazing! and I am stunned (but not surprised) that you managed to finish it so quickly.
When it comes to holiday eating though I'm with you about comfort and stretch. I may bring my maternity pants back out of retirement for the month of December. Nothing says festive like an elasticized waist.
Happy Thanksgiving. What a wonderful skirt. Hope you and yours have a great day. hugs Margie.

Beautiful, nonetheless. Will you show us how fabulous it looks whilst a human is wearing it? I bet it's super amazing.
ReplyDeleteI never know what to wear with knit skirts. In the summer it's easier: tanks, etc. But winter makes things a little trickier. It seems weird to wear a sweater with a knitted skirt, for instance.
Oh, knit fashion guru. Give us the benefit of your wisdom!
