all smiles
Friday, October 24, 2008Okay. The story behind the smiley shirt.
This photo was taken in order to try to recreate this:
My sister Lisa, sister Michelle, my Mother and myself. Nags Head, North Carolina.
Both photos make me smile every time I look at them.
Hope your weekend is full of smiles.
And if you haven't seen the "charlie bit my finger" video, go watch. That will really make you smile.

ReplyDeleteThose are both great photos and now they'll make a whole new bunch of people smile - thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! I'm always a bit jealous when I see sisters together. Mine are all in Connecticut. As is my mom. Love the photo.
ReplyDeleteThat's so adorable. Your mom was skinny and stylish back then and looks like she still is today! She must have taught you girls all her tricks! Cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to recreate that photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a family of gorgeous women!
ReplyDeleteAnd that video is priceless (says the mother of a teething one year old!).

ReplyDeleteThe picture is even cuter now (if that's possible). All four of you are darling.

ReplyDeleteThat's really neat. I have one 4 generations photo with my mom's side of the family, but it is not nearly so cheerful looking!
ReplyDelete(I wanted to bake bread, but first I have to figure out how to fix my oven. The baking element isn't heating!)
So cute! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteLove it...then & now. Happy, lucky you! Good family is a blessing. Enjoy yours & keep smiling!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photos. My Mum was the 10th child born in her family & they all would line up and stand sideways hanging on to the hips of the one ahead of them...The first photo compaired to the last photo was amazing! If you ever wonder (who am I) you can always look at this & remember!
