I am loving your Saturday posts! It looks like a wonderful family morning, and your tablecloths are great. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteYummy! Happy Saturday L. I was so looking forward to what you'll serving this morning.
ReplyDeleteLove the green table mood!

Thanks for the recipe! I went to the website and e-mailed it to myself so I won't forget it! My daughter and her friend (who spent the night) said they were going to get up early and make breakfast for all of us. At 8:56 a.m. we're still waiting!!
ReplyDeleteStop it already... :-)
ReplyDeleteThe 5 minutes I spent outside this morning (cleaning the pool filter, maintenance drudgery, ugh) I was attacked by mosquitos (the Minnesota state bird) and horse flies (you know, the biting kind)... sigh, no beautiful outdoor breakfasts here. I really need to clean out and decorate the 3 season porch, oh, and get some cute tablecloths!
I'll get right on that...
Happy knitting-
ali
I think you should write a small "Summer Saturday Morning" cook book. Then you could eventually branch out to one for every season! Or year round! Everything you make on these days looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteOh, those blueberries looks so good.
ReplyDeleteThey are not ripe here yet...
And the ball of yarn on the table has some beautiful colr - what are you making??
Oh, I love the Contessa! Are her new recipes up yet? Off to check!
ReplyDeleteDo you send your husband into town on fake errands while you whip up breakfast too? ;) That looks fabulous!

Yum! Thank you for sharing the Ina Garten link, I just love her - at risk of sounding a little odd, there is something very sensual about the Barefoot Contessa to me, I can't look away for a minute when I am watching;)

Looks delicious! What a wonderful tradition you have.
ReplyDeleteI have made a promise to myself to get our outside area looking nicer so we can enjoy these al fresco meals as the weather warms up. It always looks so inviting at yours!!
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying Challah French Toast since I was a kid . . . i grew up in a very Jewish area, and it was the best thing after Shabbat Dinner on Friday to have the Challah French Toast on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying your Saturday posts and I love that you dress the outdoor table. I barely have the energy to mine indoors.
The french toast looks good, but the berries and peaches look even better.
ReplyDeleteSo yummy! Love the recipe, I have that cookbook too!
ReplyDeleteI have loved your site ever since discovering the Silver Belle sweater :) Love your photos and yummy recipes too! Keep enjoying that summer weather! Our blueberries are now ripening on our bushes in the backyard-about two weeks later than usual for Seattle. Summer is short here-have to enjoy it while we can!
ReplyDeleteYou have the best Saturdays ever. I think you should make yourself a coffee table book about each summertime Saturday!
