Leslie-I just returned this pattern book and yarn...same everything...I wasn't sure how I felt about the yarn after bringing it home...the pattern is adorable...hopefully you'll have only good luck with the project...

I am working on Flow too, I have had a problem with using #7 or 8 needles. I finally read about the pattern and yarn on Ravelry, and switched to #6. It is still quite an open mesh but so cute!
