coffee table knitting

My coffee table on a very snowy Friday afternoon in March.
Sometimes I think that I may have adult attention deficit disorder when it comes to my knitting. I seem to be jumping from project to project like some little sandpiper trying to dodge the waves. The coffee that I stopped to get on my way home from doing errands probably doesn't help, especially since I have already had a pot. I guess I will have to try to offset it this evening with a little wine.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

A fine wine after a fine (and busy) week. Sounds like a great idea.
ReplyDeleteCheers :-)
You have a beautiful home! Just my style.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the wine! It is Friday after all!
Looks like a bunch of fun projects you have going on there. Love the color of the cream knitted items there. Can I have a bite of that yummy biscotti:) Enjoy the rest of your day!
ReplyDeleteVery familiar feelings to mine. I have way too many projects going on--and not only knitting ones, either! Then again, I also find myself feeling this way after a bunch of coffee, too... The wine sounds like a good plan for a Friday evening!
ReplyDeletesounds a lot like me!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who has knitting ADD! LOL! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to end a long week is with a glass of wine Friday night... so relaxing. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteoh, knitters ADD - is there any other way?? So many projects so little time!!

ReplyDeleteIs there a cure for adult ADD, coz i think i have it too! Your table really looks lovely, very inviting to sit, relax, enjoy and KNIT! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way! It's hard to focus when there are so many great projects out there. Plus, I am sure the blogosphere exaggerates the condition through inspiration.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your wine. I'll cheers you with a glass of milk since I'm incubating the little one ;-)
Just remember to keep the wine well away from the knitting projects unless you want some newly dyed yarn :)
ReplyDeleteIF I had a coffee table in my living room, it would have a few othe things on it. Like Littlest Pet Shop animals, a GameBoy or two, probably a Dr. Seuss book, and a sippy cup. Wanna trade? =) Really...the Starbucks is the only thing I related to in that picture. But I'm not complaining. I enjoy 'seeing your life' in the comforts of my own home. Have a wonderful weekend. Maybe the golf courses will be greening up soon!
ReplyDeleteSnow??? I won't tell you what it was like today here!!
ReplyDeleteThe beige-camel stripey knitting at the top looks very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteMy coffee table looks exactly the same. Yesterday, snowbound as we were, I worked on no less than 4 projects. I often think that if I could only focus on one at a time I might actually finish something! Sigh.
ReplyDeletei wish my coffee table looked like that, especially with that yummy looking biscotti and coffee! yum! and the abundance of projects!
ReplyDeletei am laughing because i had a stressful day and cracked the wine open by 5pm- but it is st paddys so i guess i am not the only one drinking at this early hour!
i am with you on knitting add, i can only knit on oen project for like an hour and then want to pick up another...
This seems to be the perfect coffee table to me - lots of knitting goodies on it - yesss! ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the wine and your weekend!
Just browsing through your blog and this post caught my attention. My coffee table looks very similar...and it looks like that most of the time! Darn knitting ADD. Did you wind up going with red or white? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the label website, too! Much cuter than the ones I have.
